Pantyhose In The Closet

It's easy to be brave, bold and outspoken... on the Internet.  Standing up for what you believe in becomes more difficult with full disclosure.  Nowadays, it's quite common to lead a second life online where you're able to hide behind the screen name of your choosing.  Electricgurl, I chose it years ago but I still like it.

If anyone believes in a pantyhose lifestyle, it's got to be me.  This way of life started decades ago as a barely audible whisper, I hardly noticed it myself at first.  Over the years the outward appearance of my lifestyle hasn't changed much, but that inward whisper crescendoed into a deafening roar that I couldn't keep to myself any longer.  The Internet has allowed me to express myself to the world and proclaim this lifestyle as my own, and Pantyhose Share Club has allowed me to take that proclimation to the next level, bringing together thousands of pantyhose lovers to celebrate this lifestyle and form a community of people with similar interests.  We are pantyhose addicts and life is good!!

Those that know me, in real life or online, recognize that I'm not a shy person.  I am outspoken on many current issues, but I am a very private person and I've never been outspoken about my pantyhose fetish in my real life.  I write on this topic securely hidden behind my online name Electricgurl, and I'm as obsessive about maintaining my anonymity as I am about wearing pantyhose.  Women with this fetish are able to hide in plain sight, an ability I've been very grateful for over the years.

Sure, I've been found out by others.  I recall a particularly painful incident in high school where I was befriended by one of the "mean girls", you know the type, and eventually confessed my obsession, in confidence, only to find this news broadcast through my school the very next day.  Girls of a certain age can be so cruel, but we humans tend to learn from our mistakes and I've been quite successful living my pantyhose life "in the closet" masked behind both my gender and a particularly feminine style.  It's so true, if you encountered me in real life you'd never guess I was an obsessive-compulsive online rebel.  Shhhh, let's keep that just between us!

Still, there's a certain discontent growing within me, it's the price I pay for leading this double life.  It's difficult to live two sets of values.  I may be able to dress as I please, at home or out in public, but I live my pantyhose life in the closet.  Online pantyhose community organizer, check!  Real life pantyhose activist?  Maybe not, at least not for now.

If you live your pantyhose life in the closet or out, Pantyhose Share Club is a place for you.  A place where you can gain the support and freindship of like-minded individuals expressing themselves and their lifestyle openly and honestly.  We are brave, bold and outspoken... on the Internet, and we are good pantyhose people on both sides of life.

I'm looking forward to sharing more with you soon.

  1. j...I like what you had to say...I have to tell you I wish there were more WOMEN that were outspoken about this on here or on other sites...as I think there are many women that feel this way too...but are afraid to "open up"about it because they might think men would look at them in a different way...we all can appreciate our love for ph and the lifestyle and at least..within this website community...I know am not shy about admitting that..I hope you encourage more women to as well..even though..as you said its not easy to keep this mindset seperate from real life.I really respect and admire your attitude about this and I believe many other men on here do as well because of your openness and your straightforward convers. and chat..pedzboy

  2. For me, I was able to expand and enhance my pantyhose lifestyle via use of the internet. I wasn't a private closet wearer.

I wore pantyhose out openly for years with shorts, rarely going out barelegged. I dressed up for parties in college. I was always in pantyhose.

Now with the warmer weather upon us, I've been wearing shorts and pantyhose again.

I don't think we should keep our pantyhose lifestyle private. Form discussions and mutual support here on the web at sites like this and maybe even some gatherings and get togethers.

  3. Here here! I'm so glad to find that there is a groundswell movement towards hosiery. I hope the likes of Kate Middleton, you, and others like Pantyhose Plus will encourage more women to return to hosiery covered legs. It's such a small thing but what a difference they make. Hosiery definitely completes ANY outfit and bare les are boring. Cheers to you Panythose Plus for wearing hose and shorts. That's a statement, indeed.

  4. I love what you are doing electricgurl and glad you have been sharing your thoughts about your pantyhose lifestyle. I hope there are more women out there who agree with you. Though you do have an advantage being a girl you can openly wear your pantyhose and still maintain your privacy. Much harder for a male who loves the pantyhose lifestyle to wear them publicly without fear of being ridiculed and ostracized. As you say at least with the veneer of a screen name I can at least admit it online.

  5. Electric Girl, how strange it is to hear how a girl can be forced to keep this obsession secret. It seems on the surface such a strange thing, for a girl, who is allowed to wear hosiery, to have to keep her love of these wonderful things a secret. But I know how it feels to open up and be burned by others fears and misunderstanding. This site has given me a courage and self acceptance that I thought I could never attain growing up. I'm 38, and have been wearing since I was 6. All I had to go on then was my opinion on them, and my mothers opinion of me when she caught me. It wasn't a good opinion, and that shame ate my soul for so long. I hope this site can help guys and girls who feel like that, and let them know that they have nothing to be ashamed of. This site is GOLD! Thank you so much!

  6. as far as i know there is no law fobidding men to wear pantyhose in public but then if there is no law fobbiding men from doing so why dont i see any male, young and old alike exibiting there nylon covered legs out in a public place such as a mall, restarant, bus stop, night club, beaches, campground, parks, etc..... more likely there's a lack of balls out there that make men afraid to let others see that there're wearing am article of clothing that is known and/or intended to be worn only by women, so now we must be real sissys if we cant admit to others and walk along side by side with our brother and sisters out in public and where what we want especially if its considered an article of female clothing which just happens to be called what? Pantyhose! if we cant't do that it will never ever be ok as far as i know me included im one of those sissy's that can't seem did get my head out of my butt. no right or wrong answer here just do it!

  7. back in history men always wore hosiery now is society its not exceptable they don't think about history and when men wore hosiery and women didn't I am a male as straight as a arrow I wear all the time is not a fetish. I wear under my pants when out I don't need to be ridiculed, labeled called a excuse me but a fagot just not right I love wearing cause the support on my legs, the feel, the way my legs look when wearing them and the warmth on cold days just a shame men cant wear them openly as long as its done tastefully but guess we have to live in a closet for now and men have legs to

  8. I sometimes wear no socks when I wear my pantyhose at places. I get looks like, oh, I notice you are wearing your nylons. Yes, " I often do" I reach down and rub my ankle, caressing my pantyhose clad leg beneath my pants. "Sometimes the ladies say", I JUST ADORE YOUR. PANTYHOSE"! I retort, "I LOVE YOURS TOO TOO"!

  9. At the movies, I find a out of the way place not too close to others. Then after the movie starts, I slip off my shoes with no socks revealing my pantyhose clad feet. Its pretty dark, so few notice. I get brazen and put my feet up where they can be seen. I walked barefooted to the restroom and noticed that someone wrote so and so is wearing nylons...... The adult theaters have occationally explicit movies where one can enjoy a nice time while I caress my pantyhose as someone enjoys watching.

  10. Really now, I think it's time for a common sense approach to the hosiery issue. "Each to their own"
